Giving a leg up in the world for 'Camp Myth and q

A certain little someone () is apparently writing a nice little set of novelettes of a fantasy nature and has a message for us all:

How are you all doing? First off, I'd like to say that I'm very sorry to bother you like this. I know it's never fun to be cold-called, and I appreciate you even reading to the end of this sentence. My name is Chris Lewis Carter, an author from Newfoundland, and I'd love just a moment of your time to quickly tell you about my kickstarter campaign for a new fantasy book series that I really think you'd enjoy.

The series, called, "Camp Myth," is about a summer camp for mythological creatures. The main character, a Fae named Felix, is tasked with earning the camp's fantastic merit badges, including such feats as Kraken Fishing, Cyclopean Archery, and Golem Building. After all, kickstarter is a tough market, but I'm dedicated to making this series work

"WHAT IS CAMP MYTH?

Growing up, I was a huge fan of comics, and books like R.L. Stine's "Goosebumps." I love the idea of fresh monthly content to read and enjoy.
That's why, with the help of ebook publishing and readers like you, I want to create a new monthly serial that both kids and adults can look forward to.

Camp Myth is a summer camp built to teach young mythological creatures about the cultures and dangers of their amazing world. Minotaurs, Dryads, Merfolk, Centaurs – you name it! For six weeks, these children live and work together in order to earn merit badges and prove their worth to the mythic community.

But for Felix, a mischievous Fae with a knack for getting into trouble, camp means nothing more than a chance to break free from his overprotective parents and enjoy a few weeks without responsibilities.
